Recently, Atari announced that it will “resurrect” the Infogrames brand and reposition it as a distribution brand.

As the predecessor of Atari, Ingeborg was established in 1983 and will exist as a subsidiary after the brand is revived. The new publishing company will be headed by Atari COO Geoffroy Châteauvieux. Inborg will focus on publishing and acquiring IP, the first of which is Totally Reliable Delivery Service purchased from publisher Tiny Build. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, but Atari said the deal includes games released in 2019, the game’s trademarks and “underlying resources.”

Inborg will have a special focus on assets “outside of the core IP portfolio associated with the Atari brand,” the announcement said, adding that the preservation of gaming history will also be at the core of the brand.

“Reliable Delivery” was officially launched on Steam in 2021 by We’re Five Games. It is a sandbox physics simulation game. The game received a “particularly favorable” overall user review on Steam.
