Recently, NASA issued a press release introducing the agency’s first tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG) “The Lost Universe”. The game is suitable for 7-10 players to participate together, and each game is about 3- 4 hours, designed to allow players to experience the fun of exploring the universe in depth through the game, while learning and applying scientific knowledge.
“The Lost Universe” is set in the city of Aldastron on the rogue planet Exlaris. The city is shrouded in dark mysteries. Researchers dedicated to studying the universe have disappeared, and the Hubble Space Telescope has disappeared from the Earth’s timeline. Only a group of ambitious adventurers can uncover the lost truth.
According to the game documentation on the official website, “The Lost Universe” provides multiple endings, pays tribute to the Hubble Telescope and its pioneers, and emphasizes the importance of space exploration and scientific research.
